We have used Hot 2 Cold on several occasions and James Thornsberry has been extremely professional every single time. He does a great job of asking the right questions, explaining technical items, and providing multiple options based on individual client needs. We need to do a complete overhaul on our entire HVAC system and he provided us with four separate estimates, each with competitive pricing compared to similar estimates from other companies. Today we visited to perform an annual maintenance on the air conditioning system. The unit is from 2005 and uses R-22 refrigerant which is now phased out. Kristin is aware that it is time to replace the system, but is hoping to keep it working for a while longer.
Service Call Diagnostic: diagnostic system make sure working properly. Check Freon all electrical components and replace new filter. Unit working normal
Technician performed full system maintenance check up. Inspected all electrical connections and components fully flushed and cleaned drain line. Checked refrigerant charge and found it to be at the proper level. Replaced air filter. Inspected ductwork in the attic. System was fully tested and no issues were found at this time.
Today we visited to follow up from the recent installation.
Inverter technology delivers the most efficient and comfortable home. Sometimes called variable speed systems these machines are like having dozens of differently sized a/c units all in one. They have a variable speed compressor that incrementally “throttles” the power being used. Expect even temperatures, low bills, and extraordinary air quality.

Sprayed down evaporator coil with self rinse cleaner. Removed piece of insulation from blower wheel that came off panel. Blower wheel is very dirty and needs a pull and clean. Washed down drain line. Hosed down condenser coil and checked refrigerant levels to be in range. Amp draws on motors are good.
